Tuesday is the last day to turn in anything from 1st quarter. Grades will be posted tomorrow.

Glad everyone came through the storm without injury or loss.
This week we will finish up through packet #3. The other two packets will be done next quarter. Friday is the deadline for all work. So, turn in packets 1-3 before Friday ends. Grades will be put in at the district level on Monday (may be extended). Also, make sure if you missed ANY of the quizzes that you come in at lunch or after school to make them up.
STAY SAFE. WHEN WE COME BACK WE WILL FINISH UP. MOST LIKELY, WE WILL STOP WITH THREE (3) PACKETS. WE WILL DO THE REST OF THE POEMS IN THE 2ND QUARTER. YOU MUST HAVE ALL THREE PACKETS IN BEFORE 10/14. RIGHT NOW THAT IS THE END OF THE QUARTER. GRADES MUST BE POSTED ON THE 17TH.

9/30 – SENIOR PINNING. Take roll and then go. Jr. students will be directed to another class – I am needed in the cafeteria. So, just turn in packet, & pick up new packet. Work on in class you are sent to.
9/28 (early day) & 9/29 – “African Beggar” Literary Analysis & test today on Poetry Terms from PPT.
9/26 & 9/27 – Annotation and TP-CASTT of your selected poem. Literary analysis for your poem. ALL shared and collected in class.
9/21 & 9/22 – Bring in new poem (1st) – will do TP-CASTT in class. Bring in own poem done with TP-CASTT (2). Will write analysis in class.
9/19 & 9/20 –Using the poem you printed out, annotation, SIFT, and paragraph using the SIFT as a guide, but use your own words. Will share with the class and turn in.
9/15 & 9/16 – Printed version of short poem.
9/13 & 9/14 – “We Wear the Mask” annotation and SIFT form and paragraph (if not in last class) & “Mirror” annotation and SIFT form and paragraph (hold for use in class).
9/9 & 9/12 – 10 Literary Terms turned in.
9/7 & 9/8 – Character Essay and TEST TODAY
9/2 & 9/6 –Reflection on Act III.
8/31 & 9/1 –Reflection for Act II. Should have read Act III of play.
8/29 & 8/30 – Reflection for Act I. Should have read Act II of play.
